Good kobudo practice kama

"I use mine for traditional Matayoshi Kobudo. These are light enough to learn to manipulate and open/close, yet heavy and durable enough to not be a demo weapon. The handle on mine seemed to be white wax wood. Blades are not sharp. They give a good look of traditional style kama. I have not used it for any type of bunkai yet, but will not shy away from it when the time comes. Inexpensive enough that if I abuse them, I can buy another pair."

Poor Quality

"Handles arent wood. Its the step above disposable water bottle plastic. Assembly is as poor quality as the feel of the kama. Id expect this quality from a halloween store. Wouldn't pay more than $15. 00 if I held them in person."

Looks cheap

"Does not resemble advertised photos. Handles appear to white and plasticky."

Practical, real weapon...not competition

"Real weapon, not light, sporty or flashy. Real weapon that delivers real hurt. Great for traditional martial artists...not sport"

Over priced

"Price should be around 15.00 for the quality of this Kama. Too bulky and heavy. Decent for practice in back yard, item is not competition worth. Blades are clunky and cheap."
