I love the jacket when I first got it

"The jacket was as heavy as I would like it to be where it ties is weak. Only five times into wearing it. It has ripped."

Bad quality control on what is otherwise a good gi

"Bought two of these. One of them was the wrong size (Century customer service did an AMAZING job of fixing that for me and overnighted me a replacement) but that is not what the two star review is for. On both the red and black as well as the white and black tops that I ordered the nylon webbing straps that were used as cross ties tore straight out of the stitching. This happened because the nylon webbing was not correctly heat sealed before it was stitched into place to anchor it and the nylon just frayed as cut nylon webbing does. Thankfully I am not a slouch with a sewing machine so I was able to repair them but this should not happen with a brand new uniform the very first time it is put on. Once the tie issue was fixed the uniform fits well, is comfortable and looks good."

The fabric feels kind of

"The fabric feels kind of cheap. I wasn't expecting anything super-substantial, but I also didn't expect it to feel like a manilla envelope. One thing I didn't realize before buying is that there is blue stitching over black fabric. It would have looked much sharper if the stitching matched its background. The ties are also very low-density and low-strength, which caused one to rip off the uniform immediately when I tightened the knot. It's a martial arts gi, which should be made for moving around in. Also, the sleeve is more of a 3/4 sleeve, which flares out to a wider cuff on the forearm. It looks sporty that way, but it really doesn't work well if you intend to do demo displays with weapons. It feels like wearing a windbreaker or rainjacket while trying to do tricks. That said, I'm glad to see bold uniform designs in the catalog again, but would like the fabric and ties to be at least slightly higher in quality."

Made in America is not just some empty phrase; it has weight. Those three words need to be said with care. And when they are, people need to know you mean it. We mean it. Today, here in the heart of the country, what we make is made here. From the heart.

Numbers Don't Lie

Math is the language of the universe, and there’s no debating it. That’s what makes it so beautiful. The order of it. The truth of it. From Aristotle to now, it’s the bedrock of all philosophy and the father of modern science: things are either true or they’re not. You either get results, or you don’t.

And you just can’t argue with results.

That’s what we care about: Results. Good ones. The best. We accept nothing less. And we don’t just test, we invest in testing. Our commitment to quality control is so rigorous that our Quality Control (QC) will tenaciously QC themselves. When the rest of us are on holiday, they are running the numbers on the numbers. When they see the industry standard says a maximum of 10 ppm, then they knock it down to 5. By their account, to merely meet standards is to fail them. Their goal is to always exceed any standard, any goal. No exceptions.

And we don’t argue; they get results.

They keep everything in perfect order. They have absolute dominion over their universe, and it… is… beautiful. After all, the math is on their side.
