Love them

"I have two sets of the padded staff and we used them in sparring class last night and they were such a hit (literally and figuratively)! These are much preferred over the two blockers and connection, as those can't stand up to hard use, and often come apart. We used these in both the kids and adult classes, and they worked great for all!"

"I just got my 6 foot Actionflex bo. I haven't used it in sparring yet, but I am concerned how hard it can hit with a thrust. I've done both HEMA and SCA armored combat, so I have experience hitting people with stuff, and being hit. I would not let children spar with this weapon. It is significantly stiffer than the swords (I love actionflex swords) I am sure that is necessary considering the length of the staff, and there is little padding on the tips. The result is these can give a powerful thrust. For adults that have control and are aware of the risks, this is a good weapon."
