I am disappointed with the quality of my new Century nunchaku.\n\nI owned 2-3 of this same item back in the 1990s, and the quality of those nunchaku was HIGH: with very solid wood that was difficult to dent/chip/break. \n\nThe quality of this new nunchaku (same item that I owned 20+ years ago) is inferior and disappointing. Dropping nunchaku is a normal thing to do while someone is learning. As a kid (in the 1990s) I dropped mine thousands of times, and the wood rarely ever dented. However, with this new nunchaku, when my son or I dropped it, it dents every single time, and a coating chips away. We have used our new set of (2 units) nunchaku for less than a week, and they have dented far worse that my old nunchaku (from the 1990s) did in several years. \n\nThis quality fade is very disappointing.
