I have worn these Gi your about 35 years. Yes there has been some changes and it does take about 20 washes to flex it up a bit but they last for years, some of mine are 20+ years old and used at least 1 once a week. In hot weather they are great, they don't stick to you and the air can circulate and keep you cooler than the sticky ones. Wrinkles, when they are washed and put in the dryer hang them up when done drying or let them air dry. Have never had to iron.

This is a good quality jacket and the heavy weight is good for practicing grabs. The problem is that the heavy weight causes TONS of wrinkles. Be prepared to iron or take the jacket to be pressed after every washing
