"These gloves are great for sparring and for the long haul. I have been using this type of glove for a few years now. They get sweaty and stinky and go right into the washer. That's probably the best feature. I wish the thumb placement was a little different, but it's not bad. The only downside is they are not accepted at all tournaments I compete in. For a majority of them, they are. If you are looking, the C-Gear love is a must!"

"It is difficult to tell from the photos or product description. My Shihan described these as bag gloves, almost boxing gloves, not recommended for sparring. Thumb pockets are not very deep so thumbs can get loose."
