Not real wood.

"They are what is need for class but the description of them being white wood , there is no wood they are some sort of plastic composite."

seems good to me

"I got these because my practice nunchucks broke and decided to get real ones, im not the best at criticizing the quality of nunchucks because i’m not a nunchuck enthusiast but all i can say is that it’s literally perfect to me, it does not look under quality and looks just like the picture intended, i love them a lot and would buy again."

Lightweight and tough

"The White Wax Wood numchukua are amazing. They are extremely light and are tough. Love they match a traditional white karate gi and you can re-string when needed."

Trevor G. (5/5)

Used to be better.

"I had two pairs of white wax woods for maybe ~7 years, and they were the most solid training chucks ever. They had the weight and solidity of wood, but were barely lighter, and were a great introduction to woods for any enthusiast. I loved them to death. But after their untimely deaths, I ordered some more, and now they feel plastic in comparison. They're definitely lighter no doubt. They feel like plastic. I don't know what was done, but the construction is way cheaper. They were the greatest training pair and now I'll have to search elsewhere."
