Amazing item

"Always wanted a pair like these as I can only find the ones made out of rubber for safety reasons and training. These are exactly like the ones Michelangelo uses in the first three Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies. They are really great for training."

"very heavy and too large for female hands"

They're really good quality

"I bought these for a friend's kid who's just starting out in martial arts. They looked identical to my first pair. Im not wild about the cord length, its a little to long for my preference, but the wood is super hard."

Richard J. (5/5)

Solid quality

"But my very first pair in the mid 80s, and these are exactly the same quality and construction. Highly recommend."

Great website

"Haven’t bought any yet, but my renshi’s have been recommending this website to me, and based off of the reviews, this seems trustable. Even though I haven’t bought it yet, five stars."

Meh

"I used to have a couple pairs of Nunchakus but, they were lost over the years. One pair was white oak with cord and, the other was Cocobolo with swivel chain. Both of those were harder and heavier than these. The cord on these was really cheap, seemed weak, and was threaded through the handles in a strange way that had three strands running between the handles. The cord was also too long. I cut that cord out and replaced it with actual parachute cord. The description says these are red oak but, the wood feels too light to be oak. Also, the notches cut for the cord to lay in are too deep. The quality just isn’t up to the ones I had 40 years ago but, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised."
